About This Plan

A generous family home located in a boutique subdivision, with both formal and informal living options, each with views and access to the expansive outdoor living. The living spaces are well connected through a lineal corridor which forms the 'backbone' of the house. This space acts as a gallery space adding to the volume of adjacent rooms, as well as linking public and private space. The first floor space contains the private spaces.

Natural timber batten cladding was used to soften the extent of the plaster finish. This coupled with interesting geometry, of both wall and roof, allows shade and light to help define form and delineate different surfaces.
