Built for a small family, this house boasts more room than they could poke a stick at! With a relatively square site, the house became large across the central areas creating an issue of lighting. To resolve this, a pitched roof and highlight glazing was created to illuminate virtually all of the upper floor. A strong statement from the road side was desired with reflection of natural materials with stonework and timber with a colour scheme of earthy tones.
